LONDON SHOWCASE 2017

My name is Dimitra Glyky and I am from Cyprus. I studied BA Performance at Southampton Solent University. Since 2000, I have been an active member of several dancing/theatre groups. Before I moved to the UK, I had the opportunity to participate in a few performances in Cyprus, which were consisted of a huge audience number. Throughout my three years at university, I had the opportunity to participate in many performances. Furthermore, I played in the film ‘The Pugilist’ in the role of a student in the film. I was a member of the ‘PatchworX’ Theatre Company, based in Southampton. I completed my post-graduate degree at the Goldsmiths University of London on Musical Theatre (Producer) course and co-produced a new musical called ''Sundown Town'' by Adam Wachter. Moreover, I completed my working experience at Polka Theatre as the producer's assistant. Currently, I teach theatre for kids.  People can describe me as an ambitious and personable person with experience in the industry of performing arts, both as ensemble and solo performer.
